Soccer4Hope- Award Contender!

We are delighted to inform you that Soccer 4 Hope has been short listed for an award in the Youth category in the 2nd Annual Score4africa awards! As a result, we have been invited to attend the awards ceremony that will be taking place on the evening of Monday, November 30th at The Sheraton Park Lane Hotel in London.

The SCORE4africa Awards recognize those who use football to transform lives in Africa. The Awards are open to everyone – individuals, grassroots organizations, community groups, footballers, football supporters, football clubs, football governing bodies, charities and NGOs, and businesses.

‘It’s a very exciting short list, reflecting the high profile individuals and grassroots organizations making a difference through football. Didier Drogba’s £3 million contribution this year and Craig Bellamy’s donation of £500,000 have obviously set a new bar,’ said Onyekachi Wambu, one of the event’s organizers.

SCORE4Africa is a social enterprise wholly owned by AFFORD – a UK Registered Charity, number -1104682 (www.afford-uk.org)
