Hello! My name is Sandra Satumba, I am 27 years old and I am a single mother. I have a daughter Belinda, aged 11. I stay in Mabvuku right here in Harare. Mabvuku also happens to be one of the locations were Hoops 4 Hope started. I have been with the organisation for 7 years now.

Hoops 4 hope has given me hope just like the name, and has also upgraded me physically and spiritually. As an All Star, I have built a social bridge between me and both the small kids and teenagers, using the simple form of playing basketball and lifeskills as an instrument of communication.

I NOW TAKE THE KIDS AS MY BROTHERS AN SISTERS! I am enjoying being with the kids. If i miss one day without being with them, I will feel like i didn’t clean my teeth or take a bath so I wouldn’t ever want to miss a practice session!
