New All Star Recruits of 2011

Through the partnership with the YDF, Soccer 4 Hope has been able to recruit seven new All Star community coordinators. We now have a total of eight All Stars who will be supporting and mentoring the MVP volunteer coaches. In total they will be supporting 80 MVPs, who will eventually train the primary school girls that will compete in upcoming leagues around Cape Town.

The recruitment of the All Stars has allowed us to divide the structure into manageable clusters. The All Star coaches work in the communities in which they live, which has strengthened the program significantly.

Here is an overview of the communities in which our new All Stars will be working:

  1. Gugulethu South – Ntombodid Themebla
  2. Gugulethu North – Zodidi Thembela
  3. Nyanga –  Tholakele Ndlovu
  4. Crossroads – Cebisa Noludwe
  5. Philippi – Luyolo Ngcala
  6. Khayelitsha Site B – Vuyani Ngcuka
  7. Khayelitsha Harare – Kholosa Potwana
  8. Khayelitsha Macassar – Vuyokazi Tokwe

We are very glad to have the new recruits on board and we would like to welcome them to the Hoops 4 Hope/Soccer 4 Hope family!
